Not for everyone, but for the right recipient, a true jewel. I originally bought this for my daughter, an ardent amateur musician, who returned it to me. I availed myself of the chance to look at its components. Nicely done! The drum is soundly made, for those who are curious. I opted to regift it to another daughter, who found it interesting--but not to the degree that her brother (with whom she was then staying) felt. She thought it was the right thing to give it to him, and he loves it. (He's no child; he's in his late 30s.)Think I may buy another for her next birthday!
