Shaman's Dream is Craig Kohland's multi-faceted musical project. The music, which is beautifully ambient and world beat orientated, lends itself well to yoga, meditation, healing, and ecstatic dancing. Shaman's Dream can take on many shapes and has involved a multitude of talented musicians.
Rara Avisis a U.K.-born, West Coast-based composer, performer, and vibrational medicine man. His current focus is on music for the healing arts dance, yoga, tai chi, massage, meditation but he also likes to rock out on his guitar from time to time. His other releases include Beneath the Radar, Kerala Dream, and DownTemple Dub. Look for his upcoming releases on Six Degrees Records.
Amani Friend is co-founder of Desert Dwellers and Desert Trax, and founder of Liquid Bloom and Global Dragon Design. This composer, producer, musician, and graphic designer has remixed artists such as Deep Forest, Karsh Kale, and Chris Fortier, as well as produced groundbreaking down-tempo and dance tracks for labels such as Six Degrees, White Swan Records, Native State Records, Ritual Sounds, Ball of Waxx, System Recordings, Bedrock Records, and Sunkissed.
Jason Hann is an international artist and composer, who has toured and recorded around the world with groups as diverse as String Cheese Incident, Isaac Hayes, Loreena McKennitt, Rickie Lee Jones, and EOTO, as well as with many other artists from Cuba, Morocco, Guinea, Mali, Brazil, Korea, Senegal, Ghana, and Cameroon.
Craig Kohland is a producer, performer, multi-percussionist, composer, and body-worker. Founder of Shaman's Dream Music and musical director of Shaman's Dream World Groove Ensemble, he is the producer/ executive producer of eleven Shaman's Dream-related albums, projects, and over eighty commercials and music videos. Craig is also the co-facilitator/ producer of Zen Dancing ritual dance concerts and yoga/music retreats, and the producer for Yoga Tribe and Culture Productions.
Micheline Berry is a producer, dancer, yoga instructor, and the creative director of Shaman s Dream World Groove Ensemble and Zen Dancing. She has led over four hundred ecstatic dance and world music journeys since 1996. Her work has appeared on BBC, Lifetime TV, and Brazil's TV Globo, as well as in Harper's Bazaar, Shape, and Los Angeles Magazine. Based in Venice, California, Micheline currently leads ritual dance concerts and yoga/music arts workshops and retreats internationally.
